Description	This submittal is contingent on completion and acceptance of fire alarm permit FIR04-00745. That is attached to building permit BLD04-02236. Scope of work is to provide total area smoke detection coverage and notification to a TI space on the 6th floor. The existing required fire alarm system includes sprinkler monitoring, required automatic detection, HVAC shutdown, fire/smoke damper controls, door release, elevator recall/shutdown and notification throughout (high-rise, voice evacuation system). TI remodel is a 5,255 sq ft. office area located on the 6th floor per approved plans. Work to include construction of interior partitions, relocated lighting, miscellaneous related finishes. This building is fully fire sprinklered any alterations to the sprinkler system shall be per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department. (rmh)

Had meeting with Peter Petroni - Simplex Grinnell to discuss the reason we received a resubmittal on fire alarm application FIR04-00745. After review we discovered the resubmittal application should have been for fire alarm permit FIR06-00244 previously reviewed by Mary Froemke. However, fire alarm permit FIR04-00745 must be completed prior to approval of this fire alarm permit.
