Description
To provide total notification in the TI space located in the basement. A new NAC panel will be installed in the same location of the existing FACP (existing smoke detector) to accommodate the new visual circuit. The horn circuit is fed from the FACP. No written comments. Battery calculations appear to be sufficient. Provide revised building map, including any architectural changes to the PDS Fire Inspector at time of inspection.

The associated building permit (BLD06-00522) is to remodel a 940 sq.ft. area in the basement for a 608 sq ft office space and a 332 sq ft computer server room. Work to include construction of noncombustible partitions, relocation of a door, installation of ceiling and lighting, miscellaneous related finishes. Spoke with Charlie Bayne, Simplex-Grinnell. The FACP battery calculation indicates only 10% for additional power. Good practice is 20% and I review all permits to that level. He will check on the calculation and let me know what it means, or resumbit for upgrade of batteries.
