To provide two (2) UL listed junction boxes on the ceiling in the basement to provide access to fire alarm wiring that required to be spliced. The fire rating of the ceiling (hard lid) must be maintained. The PDS Fire shall field verify UL listing, fire rating and functionality of the FA system for Z-1 (basement waterflow), Z-2 (basement tampers), Z-3 (1st floor waterflow), Audible CKT1 and the interconnection between FACP (1st floor) and the dialer in basement.

The associated building permit (BLD06-00522) is to remodel a 940 sq.ft. area in the basement for a 608 sq ft office space and a 332 sq ft computer server room. Work to include construction of noncombustible partitions, relocation of a door, installation of ceiling and lighting, miscellaneous related finishes.
