The underground fire service supply is under separate permit FIR06-00262. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2003, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to building permit: BLD05-00926.

Re-Submittals Of The Following Items Are Required:
1. Provide a valid and current water supply certificate from the water purveyor. (BMC 7-01-50 IFC 901.2, IFC 105.4.2)

2. Provide hydraulic verification of meeting NFPA 13-14.4.4.2*. (BMC 7-01-50 IFC 901.2, IFC 105.4.2, NFPA 13-14.4.4.2)

3. Provide installation (includes piping information, elevations, fittings, etc.) on the "remote" piped FDC. (BMC 7-01-50 IFC 901.2, IFC 105.4.2)

4. Plan riser detail appears to have a premanufactured riser with flow switch, test-n-drain, etc. If this is the case, provided data submittals for verification.

5. Provide details and clarification through resubmittals on how the system will be protected meeting requirements of NFPA 13-7.6.1.3.2 and 8.15.3.1 minimum.

6. Sprinkler protection is not shown in the bottom of the elevator shafts (pits), which will be required, due to non uniform maintenance (hydraulic fluids) or the accumulation of combustible in the pits over time, etc. Temperature rating of sprinklers in elevator machine rooms and pits shall meet elevator shunt trip requirements per NFPA 72 for operation.
