Eleven duct detectors will be installed under this permit. This permit was initiated after a correction notice was left by PDS Fire Inspector Troy Cobbley (dated 4/3/2006), based upon an aging building permit. The associated building permit (BLD 02-02216) is to remodel an existing 6,827 sq.ft. office tenant by converting 2 offices into one 650 sq.ft. conference room per approved plans on file. Work to involve construction of interior noncombustible partitions installation of double doors and safety glazing sidelights. NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered any alterations or modifications to the fire sprinkler heads shall be per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department. The only item that tested ok was the duct smoke detector in the Lucent tenant space. The plans need to be resubmitted showing the slave radionics dialer that has been connected to the Simplex 4005 panel. The dialer is not sending out phone line troubles or loss of battery. It did however send out the duct detector supervisory and the loss of ac power. A building map needs to be provided and the power supply for the dialer needs to be mechanically secured. No other duct detectors were tested or any of the sprinkler devices. Test has been stopped and failed.
