Re-Submittals Of The Following Items Are Required:
1. Plan is incomplete. Underground supply piping and riser shown on the plan FP1 is not identified and/or correlate with the calculations. Provide completed plans that correlates with the calculations, which shall include:
a. Underground piping shall be sized.
b. Riser piping is not identified other than size on the plans.
c. Plan FP1 has a plan not that indicates a "10'-0" rise from the street to the house," and the calculations show a 12.12 psi gain between nodes #13 (meter) and #2 (underflow of the house)?
(BMC 7-01-50-901.2, IFC 105.4.2)

2. System sprinkler head listing design is for a "flat" ceiling. This conflicts with section 1 FP-1, since the area is addressed as having a "Barrel-Vaulted Ceiling." Clarify that the slope does not exceed 2" in 12" pitch.

3. Water demand on the 1" Watts Series 007 exceeds the manufacturer's tested listing for a maximum flow rate of 7.5 ft/sec (velocity).

4. Plan (construction) information is incomplete. Water closets, showers and toilets separation is not addressed on the plan meeting the minimum allowed construction requirements by a minimum 8" lintel. If combined area exceeds 55-ft/2, fire sprinkler protection will be required. (BMC 7-01-50-901.2, IFC 105.4.2, NFPA 13D 4.1.2)

5. Backflow preventer exceeds the manufacturer's maximum system flow rate listing.

6. Water supply certificate is not addressed at the same location as this permit is addressed.

7. All unsprinklered rooms and closets shall be identified on the plans in order to verify the allowable exemption from requiring sprinkler protection.

8. Pipe friction loss shall be calculated in accordance with the Hazen-Williams formula with C values from NFPA 13-Table 14.4.4.5, which include pipe, fittings, and devices such as valves, meters, flow switches in pipes 2 in. or less in size, and strainers, and calculate elevation changes that affect the sprinkler discharge.

9. Provide corrected calculations showing the "base of riser" at node #3 and not #4, (which is the top of the riser).
