Description
To provide a required manual fire alarm system. The required manual fire alarm system includes sprinkler monitoring, HVAC shutdown and notification throughout. The exception for notification on water flow has been chosen and the manual pull stations are not being installed. The notification system shall be voice/evac (Cabela's standard).

The associated building permit (BLD 06-01174) is to construct interior tenant improvements for a 136,194 sq.ft. retail tenant per approved plans. Work to include, construction of interior partitions, installation of suspended ceiling systems, construction of a new mens and womens accessible restrooms, construction of a small kitchen area, miscellaneous related finishes. Deferred submittals for the mountain and aquarium fixtures. Separate permit and engineering required for any storage racking over eight feet high. Demo permit was issued under Bld06-00505 / Exterior structural permit was issued under Bld06-00632. Sound test passed today for the audio/visual devices. Four problems that need addressed are the strobe in the northeast service corridor is overspaced, the sound level in the storage room adjacent to the archery ranch is too low and both ceiling mount a/v's in the fly shop are not at the correct candella. All sprinkler items need addressed and the two horns in the fish tank/mechanical room need installed.

The testing today included the system smoke detectors, supervision of the NAC panels and sound levels of the notification devices. The sound levels appeared to be inadequate but per Brian the wrong scale was used. The sound levels will be reverified monday.

The only items tested and passed today are the main fire alarm panel, voice evac panel, remote fire alarm control panel in the security office and the two NAC panels. Also tested was the smoke detector in the security office.
