BRUNO BUILT INC, EL PASEO - To install a (modified) life safety NFPA 13D system in a new 3,716-ft/2, 3.5 bath, two story single family dwelling. 668-ft/2 Basement, 2,642-ft/2 Main floor, 406-ft/2 Upper floor with a 1008-ft/2 Attached garage/storage. The modification is the installation of fire sprinkler protection in the garage/storage areas where attached to the residential living space/areas of the residence. System will be equipped with an alarm initiating device and an outside alarm. All fire sprinkler work and related, which includes dual use, single service water supply, the system backflow prevention device (provided by others), shall be per NFPA 13D, approved plans, engineering/red-lining and attached review comments, under direction of the Fire Chief. Re-Submittals Of The Following Items Are Required:
1. The upstairs single head operation is not accepted since two heads shall be included in the calcs. Revise and resubmit offering the most demanding verification of system design. Include final head analysis report with the calcs.

2. Provide a final head analysis report for test area #2.

3. A domestic and sprinkler (combination control) shall be connected upstream of the fire sprinkler and domestic takeoff, (no exceptions), which is required for monitoring of system per NFPA 13D-A.6.2(a), A.6.3(a) and included the valve in the calculations.

4. Correct Riser Key Notes:
a. #1,
b. #1A pipe size,
c. #3 (reference requirements in item #3 above).

5. Riser installation detail is incomplete. Provide added requirements for exposed CPVC RISER piping and fittings, which does not stop at a pendant sprinkler with 1'-0" of the riser. This information is not included in the (partial/incomplete) CPVC pipe data submittals provided.

6. Garage (barrier protection) sprinklers may be susceptible to freeze damage. Provide clarification as to how this will be prevented.
