Description	This building is required to be fire sprinkled for area increase. This existing 15,158 square foot office building will be converted into a church. The assembly room will have a floor area of about 3,626 square feet and an occupant load of 281. The occupant load is limited by fixed seats. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, interior doors, interior windows, and a platform. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. Install new wet system in existing building in warm occupied areas. Install new dry system in unheated attic. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2003, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to BLD06-01803.

I went over life safety issues with John. Exit discharge lighting will be required and the two doors behind the platform can remain as long as all hardware is removed and the doors are covered/blocked from view.

Underground supply piping is ok to cover. I notified the fire sprinkler contractor that the PIV will be required to be electronically supervised and that it would be a good idea to install the conduit in the open trench prior to bury.
