Plans still out for review. No change made to add sprinkler back in the pass-through. Discussed with Paul. Requested their FPE provide us with the NFPA 13 or other applicable code references which he feels would justify this to be a non-sprinklered space within a required sprinklered building and we will consider it further. Otherwise, we will stay with the requirement for a sprinkler head within this space.

A Plan modification was out for review showing the sprinkler in the pass-thru to be removed. Troy Cobbley refused to sign; referred to S. Rogers to evaluate. I looked at the situation this date and feel it should be sprinklered per req't of NFPA 13, 8.1.1 and because of potential for combustible material to be within the space; due to its size, it will accommodate large trash bins, combustible cartons and material, etc which are present in the areas on both sides of this pass through, and sprinklers are consistent with past practice at Micron.
