ID STATE DEPT OF FINNANCE - MK PLAZA - 2ND FLR) Remodel of existing 16,951 sq.ft. office space, formerly occupied by University of Idaho, all per approved plans. Work includes selective interior demolition; construction of interior non-bearing walls to modify existing business offices and support areas; modification of existing ceiling grid at new construction; relocation of electrical fixtures and mechanical diffusers for new room layout; modify fixture controls for new bi-level switching; and modify sprinkler and alarm systems based on new layout. The fire sprinkler system plan is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. The scope of the sprinkler work includes adding & relocating down heads into the new wall and ceiling layout. The scope includes 37 heads as shown on the plans. This tenant work affects fire sprinkler protection outside the permitted work area due to the installation of tenant-demising or new partition walls; the affected area sprinkler coverage outside the BLD permit will fall under the Fire Permit scope of work, to maintain the required fire protection within the fire sprinklered facility. The "Riser" and its supplies which include all appurtenances (including tamper, alarm and alarm monitoring) relating to the normal and correct function and integrity of this system will fall under the jurisdiction for code compliant verification.
