INTERMOUNTAIN GAS WAREHOUSE) The addition and existing building is fully sprinklered for allowable area increase. To build-out & finish a 12,000 sq.ft. portion of a 20,644 sq. ft. shell addition added to a previously existing 14,500 sq. ft. occupied warehouse. The fire sprinkler scope of work includes adding 31 new SSP and 25 new SSU heads. It also includes relocating 17 other SSU heads. This work is a modification of the existing shell protection.
When tenant work affects fire sprinkler protection outside the permitted work area. The affected area sprinkler coverage outside the BLD permit will fall under the Fire Permit scope of work, to maintain the required fire protection within the fire sprinklered facility. The "Riser" and its supplies which include all appurtenances (including tamper, alarm and alarm monitoring) relating to the normal and correct function and integrity of this system will fall under the jurisdiction for code compliant verification.
