This permit is to install audible visual notification appliances in conjunction with existing fire alarm initiating and notification appliances in common use and public areas in the basement of the 1010 Jefferson Building. This work is in preparation for future tenant occupancy, no tenant build out or occupancy is to be established at this time. Building Permit # BLD06-00879 is to renovate an existing 2 story with basement building (8,405 square foot basement, 8,622 square foot 1st story, 8,718 square foot 2nd story) and to create two office tenant spaces (939 square feet and 2,688 square feet) on the 1st story. Work is to include 6 restrooms accessible to the disabled, an elevator shaft and elevator, a tunneled 1-hr corridor on the 1st story, 45 minute windows in the wall parallel to the alley, new guard and handrails at the exterior stairway to the basement, an EIFS at the elevator shaft, and suspended ceilings. This permit is NOT intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes.
