Description
The sprinkler scope of work includes adding 162 QR heads to accommodate the new wall and ceiling layout on the second floor. The building Shell & Core is under a separate permit. The floor control valve and standpipe are also under a separate permit. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, the plan review report, and with all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. This permit is attached to BLD06-03212 and Shell & Core permit FIR06-00664.
When tenant work affects fire sprinkler protection outside the permitted work area. The affected area sprinkler coverage outside the BLD permit will fall under the Fire Permit scope of work, to maintain the required fire protection within the fire sprinklered facility. The “Riser” and its supplies which include all appurtenances (including tamper, alarm and alarm monitoring) relating to the normal and correct function and integrity of this system will fall under the jurisdiction for code compliant verification.
