To expand an existing 2,629 square foot tenant space by about 2,138 square feet into an adjacent area. This space is located on the 4 story of the Grove Hotel. After the expansion, this tenant space will have a total floor area of about 4,767 square feet. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, interior doors, suspended ceilings, counter/guard, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. CJW American Fire Protection to modify the existing overhead sprinkler system by adding 15 SSP's where required within new tenant space.

The sprinkler piping in the office areas is ok to cover but the upright sprinkler heads shown on the drawings in the storage area are not installed. Per the fitter this is outside his scope of work. I told him the heads appear to be overspaced and since it is on the drawings it is in the scope of work. Either the work will need to be done or plans resubmitted to change the scope of work.
