Description	This fire alarm permit is to install new fire alarm devices as required for an owner initiated elevator upgrade in the central building. The existing elevator controllers which do not have the capability of elevator recall are to be replaced with elevator controllers that do. Smoke Guard doors are to be installed in front of each elevator on all levels. Smoke detectors will be installed in each elevator lobby and will be used for elevator recall and smoke guard door release. Fire alarm devices will be added to the penthouse elevator equipment room for elevator power shutdown (shunt trip) and fire hat warning. A manual pull station and notification appliance will also be installed in the elevator equipment room. A smoke and two heat detectors are shown to be installed at the top of the elevator shaft.
