This permit is to install a new required manual fire alarm system with sprinkler, HVAC and kitchen hood suppression monitoring. Audible visual notification appliances are to be installed as required by code and offsite supervising station reporting. Building permit BLD06-02665 is to construct a restaurant within a 10,584 square foot, 1 story building. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, three restrooms accessible to the disabled, a unisex restroom accessible to the disabled, suspended acoustical ceilings, suspended wood ceilings, suspended gypsum board ceilings, interior doors, interior windows, millwork, and finishes. The building shell work (seismic upgrade, alterations to the roof structure, new wall openings, a new concrete slab on grade, fixed awnings, and new exterior windows and doors) was done under permit BLD06-02785. Interior non-structural demolition was done under permit BLD06-03204. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes.
