Description	Scope of Work: Underground Only - Beginning from an existing 6” Gate valve, run 127’ of 6” C-900 out and up into the riser room proposed newly constructed 7,300 square foot, one story, wood framed restaurant. A 2” waterline will be laid in the same ditch as the fire service line. This building is to be fully fire sprinkled. The fire sprinkler underground work shall comply with NFPA 13-2002, NFPA 24-2002 the IFC-2003, attached review comment and conditions list, as regulated by the Fire Chief. These notes, permit and fire “Inspection Card” are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum fire code. The deficiencies have been corrected and the sprinkler piping is ok to cover. I found one overspaced head just inside of the entry vestibule. I notified Trent of this and told him I would verify the installation at the final.

The underground supply at the 90 degree fitting is still too shallow and will need to be lowered and reverified at inspection. I gave the ok to cover on the remaining straight run to the United Water tap.

The 5'-0" stub out is ok to cover. As measured it does not have the 4'-6" required bury. The top of pipe is 6'-2" from the top of the foundation. The general contractor assured me that once the finish grade and landscaping is complete the piping would have the required 4'-6" bury. If it does I notified him it would need to be dug up and installed at the correct depth.
