The Permitted Work Scope: Modify the existing high pressure system by adding and relocating heads on the East and West Mezzanine levels to accommodate a new equipment arrangement. New piping and sprinkler coverage will be added to the new lower café. This modification is noted to be Revision 1, dated 08/27/07. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. This permit is attached to BLD06-02690 and Demo permit FIR06-00911
When tenant work affects fire sprinkler protection outside the permitted work area. The affected area sprinkler coverage outside the BLD permit will fall under the Fire Permit scope of work, to maintain the required fire protection within the fire sprinklered facility. The “Riser” and its supplies which include all appurtenances (including tamper, alarm and alarm monitoring) relating to the normal and correct function and integrity of this system will fall under the jurisdiction for code compliant verification.
