I called Absolute FP (Sam Ball) regarding the plan modification they just submitted. We will handle on a quick permit basis. They are planning to start and finish the work on Monday 12/3 so the sprinkler and building inspections should be able to be done morning of 12/4 in time to get the CO that afternoon, so they can open 12/5. I called Mollie Winger, (owner, ###-####) advised that Absolute FP has submitted a Quick Permit application to sprinkler the vault, plus a rest room and stairs that were also added. I outlined the steps to get the sprinkler, fire/life safety and building inspections scheduled for Tuesday morning so she can bring in the card and get her CO that afternoon. She will try to get Absolute to do the work on Friday, so she isn't in such a time crunch on Tuesday.

Telcon from Mollie Wingert, owner, regarding lack of sprinklers in new vault she had constructed to store donated computers until the hard drives are cleaned; donors require the vault for security of their donated computers until drives are erased. She was told by her architect that sprinklers were not required, therefore the room was not included or shown on the sprinkler plans. Room is approx 900 sf, storage will be computers on shelves or racks to 5 ft high. I confirmed T. Cobbly's field decision that sprinlers are required. She has Absolute FP scheduled to come out this afternoon to submit a new plan for the room; I confirmed this would be a Quick permit and we can review it within 24 hrs so she may still be able to meet her advertised opening of 12/5. Invited her to call me if she runs into any problems.
