This fire alarm permit is to relocate existing manual pull stations, smoke detector, input module and control module, install new corridor smoke detectors, duct detector and provide new notification appliances and NAC booster panel in the basement of the St Lukes JMOP building. BLD07-02347 is to perform select interior demolition of the 7,560 sq. ft. basement (ground floor) to include new ventilation openings in the north side concrete wall for new mechanical equipment; to build out the 6,330 sq. ft. interior basement area with new interior walls to create an accessible egress route to all portions of the remodeled patient area check-in, preparation, testing, treatment & support areas; to modify electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler and alarm systems; add a suspended ceiling grid system, interior wall & floor finishes and millwork. Provide accessibility at portions of two check-out stations, 4-restrooms and drinking fountain, all per approved plans, red-line notes thereon and all attached plan review comments / conditions of all reviewing agencies. Drs This building is fully sprinklered for allowable story increase and to nullify rated corridor requirements, per the 1991 UBC.
