Description	This fire alarm permit is to modify an existing fire sprinkler monitoring system to a required manual fire alarm system and interface it with a new voice evacuation panel. This work is required due to a change in occupancy (A3 with an occupant load of 1,363). Speaker strobes will be installed throughout the building as shown on the fire alarm plans and an automatic voice message will initiate upon building waterflow or other initiating devices. Building permit Bld07-02491 is to remodel 11,981 sq.ft. of area in an existing 32000 sq ft office building and convert area to a new church per approved plans and CUP07-00056. Work to include, construction of interior nonbearing partition, construction of new platform with accessible ramp, installation of new doors, miscellaneous related interior finishes. Received phone call from Troy, Troy found that the fire alarm vendor was installing the fire alarm system without plans. I could not find an early start request for the fire alarm work. Troy issued a stop work order for the fire alarm work and will continue to monitor. The fire alarm plans were received on 12-19-2007. A fire alarm review has not been started yet.

Received phone call from a General Contractor - Idem Trimley Asking for some one to come out and review the sprinkler system. He was asking me if a permit was required. Scotts review said if sprinkler work was required a permit would need to be issued. I asked Idem to contact Troy to check sprinklers.
