Work Scope:
(THE PAIN CENTER - RIVERWALK CENTER - STE 140) To construct a 2,261 square foot doctor's office in new shell space per approved plans. Scope of work includes: [construction of non-bearing partition walls creating exam rooms, procedure room w/recovery room attached, reception area, storage room, clean/dirty room, nurses station, unisex accessible to the disabled restroom, and waiting room,] installation of plumbing fixtures, installation of new electrical, installation of new exterior door, and interior finishes. Original shell permits BLD02-02687. This building is fully fire sprinklered.
The Fire Sprinkler scope consists of adding and relocating down 25 heads to accommodate the new wall and ceiling layout. The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2006, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to BLD07-03175.
When tenant work affects fire sprinkler protection outside the permitted work area due to the installation of tenant-demising or new partition walls, the affected area sprinkler coverage outside the BLD permit will fall under the Fire Permit scope of work, to maintain the required fire protection within the fire sprinklered facility. The “Riser” and its supplies which include all appurtenances (including tamper, alarm and alarm monitoring) relating to the normal and correct function and integrity of this system will fall under the jurisdiction for code compliant verification.
