Plans and calculations were resubmitted based on changes made in the field during construction. Remote are 2 was altered by substituting steal pipe with CPVC. Based on the calculations submitted, the modification does not appear to have adversely affected the operation of the system. overhead Work Scope:
Capital Steel Constructors (Shell Only) - To construct a new 6,000 square foot, one story, pre-engineered office and warehouse building and related site improvements. This is a shell permit only and no occupancy is allowed under this permit. This building was designed for two future 3,000 square foot tenant spaces. Separate tenant improvement permits will be required to finish this building for occupancy. The south half of this building is being finished for Capital Steel Constructors under tenant improvement permit BLD07-02324. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list.
Beginning from an existing supply and an 8” flange located at the North West corner of the bldg. install a 3” wet riser and wet pipe system to serve through out the entire bldg. The system supply will be controlled remotely from a post indicating valve. The system is designed to Ordinary Group II for shell protection of the Warehouse space and light hazard in the Office space.
The fire sprinkler system work shall comply with the IFC 2006, the attached review comments/conditions, as regulated by the Fire Chief. The review comments/conditions, permit and fire "Inspection Card" are required to be on site as a condition of this work, to provide witness of compliance verification of minimum code. This permit is attached to BLD07-02321 & UG FITR08-00077.
