Description	Protex submitted a early start fire alarm request. As per Sam Roger, Early start was granted. This fire alarm permit is to install a new fire alarm system in a new building. System to include HVAC, fire/smoke damper monitoring, sprinkler system monitoring, elevator recall functions, smoke detectors in the corridors, and voice evacuation in auditorium areas. Associated building permit for reference: BLD07-00007 (SOUTH JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL) To construct a 140, 546 sq. ft. two story fully fire sprinkled middle school building. Other work includes all site work, paving and landscaping per approved plans and attachments. Note: This project has phases which include demo of the existing school and a new amphitheater which will be done under separate permits. Fire sprinklers used for area. Building has 2 hour fire walls dividing the building into three separate buildings of Type IIA and IIB construction. Total area 1st floor 90,786 sq. ft. 2nd floor 49,760 sq. ft.

Fire dampers passed testing with the exception of one damper at corridor B01-see plans for location, some items on c/n repaired. Items remaining include EOL voltage testing, provide list of signals recieved, area "A" auditorium is not complete including voice evac., two elevators are not finished, kitchen hood interconnect needs tested, noted two supervisory signals at the FACP due to elevator power loss, need to test nac batteries, provide NFPA 72 Record of Completion documents at final inspection.
