This fire alarm permit is to add notification to the new 1st floor tenant space and include induct detectors for fire smoke dampers in the hall.

Associated building permit: BLD07-03260 (ASSOCIATED GENERAL CONTRACTORS - 1ST STORY) Fire sprinklers used for area and story increase. To construct a 7,400 square foot tenant space on the 1st story (about 9,500 square feet) of a new 2 story building. About 2,100 square feet of the 1st story is common area. This tenant space will be used for assembly, conference, office, reception, work, and storage. Construction work is to include interior nonbearing walls, suspended acoustical ceilings, gypsum board ceiling soffits, a folding partition, interior doors and sidelights, millwork, and finishes. The restrooms, elevator, drinking fountains, service sink, exterior doors and landings, and stairways were constructed under the shell permit (BLD07-01248). The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. CJW
