Description	This fire alarm permit is to add/relocate devices to accommodate a remodel of several areas of the existing school. Associated building permit: BLD08-00956 (BOISE HIGH SCHOOL - BASEMENT/1ST/2ND FLRS) To reconfigure approximately 11,658 sq. ft. of existing school use area on three levels for classrooms, administration, office support areas and add seismic upgrades in the east wing at the first, second and roof structure per reviewed plans and engineering; upgrade electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler and alarm systems for code compliance in remodeled areas. Separate application and plans are required before modification to sprinkler system and alarm system. This is Phase IIIB of an ongoing seismic strengthening upgrade program to improve building integrity. This is historic building and use of the 1994 UCBC is applicable for upgrade & special inspection requirements for seismic improvements. drs

The 30cd strobe in the yearbook room was not increased as marked on the city approved plans. Also a smoke detector needs to be added in the tele/elect. room next to the elevator shaft on the second floor as marked on the plans. All other smoke detectors have been tested in the scope of work.
