Description	Revised FIR Sprinkler Scope: Add sprinkler coverage in the pantry, storage area, and a closet. In addition, heads in the dining room area were also relocated during construction to meet coordination requirements. There were also some minor changes of the piping in the Studio. These modifications do not appear to have an adverse affect on the remote area of operation as it was originally approved. This revision was noted on the plans and dated 08/12/08. FIR Sprinkler Scope: Install a new 13D modified fire sprinkler system through out the single story single family dwelling with a finished basement to a single row of dry sidewall sprinklers along the wall common to attached garages and the living space. System shall be equipped with an alarm initiating device and an outside alarm. The system will be supplied from an existing 2” poly dedicated fire line. (by others) All fire sprinkler work and related, which includes a single dedicated service water supply, the system backflow prevention device (provided by others), shall be per NFPA 13D, approved plans, engineering/red-lining and attached review comments, under direction of the Fire Chief. This permit is attached to BLD08-00432.

Overhead rough-in is not approved for cover at this time due to field changes in pipe routing/sizes, 6 added heads, one deleted head, an added kitchen storage room in an upper level including 2 heads not shown on drawings, relocated heads etc. Plans will need to be resubmitted for approval matching the field installation prior to okay for cover. Noted possible obstructions by soffits at three rooms in the basement which need to comply with NFPA 13D 8.2.5.4.3, head at the riser room needs relocated as discussed for exposed CPVC riser install, be aware of possible light fixture obstructions. UG supply flush completed okay.
