Description	This fire alarm permit is to provide a new manual fire alarm system in a new building. This permit scope shall include notification, manual pull stations, sprinkler system monitoring, in-duct detectors, door holders, and elevator recall functions. Associated building permit: BLD08-00234 Apollo College (Classroom and Administration Building) - To construct a new 23,550 square foot, two story, wood framed classroom and administration building and related site improvements. First Floor: 12,000 square feet, Second Floor: 11,550 square feet. This building is fully fire sprinkled. The sprinklers are used for area increase. All construction per the approved plans and attached comment list. JCM//Plan modification submitted 6-13-08 to relocate a new seepage bed further south, the existing catch basin location will direct storm via pipe to the new basin approved per Brian Murphy 6-19-08 BAS

All of the initiating devices were tested today. Items needing corrected include providing separate points for the first floor flow switch and the second floor flow switch. The horn/strobes need to be tested for sync and all of the elevator functions need to be tested as well. Permit will not be finaled until Alarmco has submitted and passed inspection for their wireless transmitter. As-builts from Simplex are required showing the small modifications and the deletion of the phone lines.

No inspection was performed due to time constraints and the new facp is not utilizing the phone lines as per the approved drawings. It is using a wireless transmitter that has been installed by Alarmco. Alarmco will need to submitt a separate permit for approval to use this device.
