This fire alarm permit is to add notification throughout the store to meet current code requirements in response to a store remodel. NOTE TO INSPECTOR: per the contractor, the new Type 1 Hood mentioned in the building permit scope is not being installed and is not part of this fire permit's scope of work. Associated building permit: BLD08-01034 (ALBERTSONS - INTERIOR REMODEL) To remodel & refurbish store for safe, efficient operation to include cleaning and maintenance throughout the entire 1st floor, mezzanine, exterior surfaces and roof top, to include finishes, HVAC equipment operations, refrigerant services & operations, plumbing services, electrical services, doors & door hardware services and repair and minor exterior paint and repair of an existing 66,399 sq. ft. retail grocery store per approved plans and CZC08-00063. Work to include, installation of new refrigeration lines, utility services, new Type I Hood, 1-hour shaft surrounding grease duct exhaust, modifications to nonbearing partitions and soffits, cleaning, removing or replacing interior finish materials for walls floors & ceilings throughout, installation of coolers, shelving, upgrade of employee work areas and customer service areas and associated electrical, mechanical and plumbing work. This building is fully fire sprinklered, any alterations to the sprinkler system WILL Require a separate plans and permit before any said work can begin and installed per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department. drs
