Recieved an early start request, however I had a question regarding the reason for the request. Per Alarmco, the reason for early start is because "no phone lines are available for communication back to central station...". The history of this address indicates a manual fire alarm system was installed and finaled under FIR06-00272. This indicates that phone lines existed at some point, so I called and asked Lori at Alarmco what happened to the phone lines that were in there to begin with. She stated that Cheryl knows more about it, but that perhaps at some point the phones were disconnected. I let her know that I would need to discuss this further with the fire marshal prior to approving the early start request.
