The city approved plans do not reflect the actual installation. Instead of one new point there are two and a supervisory signal from the vesda is connected directly to the wireless dialer which is not allowed. Provide as-builts and wire the panels correctly.

Telephone call  12/9/2008 DONE
Called Bret and asked for a new copy of the plan sheet because it was not legible. He stated he would email it over.
Telephone call  12/9/2008 DONE
Called Bret to discuss the battery calculations. I let him know I recieved his email, but the battery calculations show zero current being used by this panel which is using all 10 of it's zones. He stated he thought they only had to do the calcs on the effected zones and wanted to know if I could just get the existing calcs from previous submittals. I explained that we do not have the manpower to research archived projects, that it is his responsibility as the contractor to know what the existing information is before he adds to it. This add is only to monitor a kitchen hood, no new current will be drawn, therefore I let him know in this case we would not need to see battery calculations. I asked him to either take the battery calculations off the plans or provide accurate battery calculations for the system. He opted to remove the battery calculations and stated he would email me revised plans. Also discussed was that the project scope on the permit application states this is monitoring a suppression system being added to a computer room, but the plans and one-line indicate that it is a kitchen hood. I asked him to revise accordingly.
