This fire alarm permit is to provide notification as required, a NAC panel, and connect to the existing fire alarm system due to a tenant improvement. The existing circuit #1 on Existing BPS6 is being used to trigger the new NAC panel, as well as continue to operate existing notification devices. The new notification devices will take up circuits 1 and 2 on the new NAC panel. Initiating devices are not part of this permit scope.

Associated building permit: BLD08-01848 (CONSULATE OF MEXICO) To build-out an existing 5,378 sq. ft. portion of the 1st floor, created under BLD04-01906, for use as an administrative office & support for the Consulate of Mexico. Work includes construction of interior non-combustible fire-resistive walls to create an assembly waiting area, reception / service counters, offices, storage and work areas; to install new 90 minute, 450 degree temperature rated, fire door/frame assembly into the existing 2-hour exit passageway and infill created openings with 2-hour fire rated construction; construct 1-hour fire barriers around Storage Rooms 112 & 117 as incidental use area, with 45-minute fir rated, self-closing door/frame assemblies; install accessible door hardware on all new doors and doors that serve this tenant space as part of the access / egress system; install panic or fire hardware on all doors serving the assembly waiting area as the required exit access and exits; upgrade electrical, mechanical, plumbing and alarm systems per tenant needs and in compliance with codes; install suspended ceiling system, millwork and finishes, all per the reviewed plans, red-lined conditions there-on and all attached plan review conditions of all reviewing agencies. drs
