Description	Fire sprinkler head recall / changeout. To replace, head for head, all Central fire sprinkler heads with Viking model heads, located within the permitted scope of work. No relocation of sprinkler heads or modifications of exisitng piping allowed under this permit. Approximately 380 heads affected. A hydrostatic test will be required when work is complete. This hydro-test shall be witnessd by the PDS/Fire inspector. Permit fee shall be $150.00 for this work.

The sprinkler head change out passed. The hydro test for the wet system passed. The hydro test for the dry system failed due to a leaking 4" main.

I confirmed with Larren that I would only require a hydro test on the replaced/recalled sprinkler heads as per NFPA 25. I would consider the three non-recall dry pendants a maintenance issue which they could replace at their leisure without being included with the hydro testing.
