Description	The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of two systems, one anti-freeze for the attic and one wet for the below the ceiling. The wet system will be protected from freezing by tenting. The sprinklers in the dwelling units' room are residential type. The attic sprinklers are special application sprinklers BB and AP. The system is supply by a new 6" CPVC C-900 main. The system has a 4" RPZ, 4" anti-freeze riser and a 2 wet riser. This is to be a fully sprinklered building with listed equipment. The building is located in a seismic category C. Spring Creek Overland - Senior Assisted-Living - Building D - Project consists of construction and finish of a 26,506 sq. ft., 42 sleeping unit, 50 beds, Senior Assisted Living Development with support facilities and associated site work, all per reviewed plans. To construct 18 one bedroom @ 552 sq. ft.; 12 Large Studio units @ 384 sq. ft.; 6 Small Studio Units @ 300 sq. ft.; and 6 Private HC units @ 227 sq. ft., six fully accessible units and 36 Type 'B' accessible units. drs DRH08-00246 CUP08-00010

Due to time constraits I was unable to complete the entire inspection. The forward flush passed as well as the fire alarm interconnections. Verification of ceiling installation, canopy installation and any possible blocked heads due to light fixtures still needs to be completed.

Piping is ok to cover except at the top of the vertical risers which will require additional insulation and the voids under both fire places needs filled with insulation as well.

The previous items on the correction notice have been corrected. The piping still can not be covered until the combustible concealed spaces throughout the facility, including at the fire places have been addressed and the veritical cpvc piping is insulated. These items need to be inspected prior to cover.

All of the attic system was inspected as well as just the east wing of the wet system. In several locations the sidewall heads are too close to one another and once the ceiling is installed may be too close to the ceiling. The contractor needs to contact Tim Frost about changes that could adversely effect the attic system hydraulic calculations. The location of acouple of the upright sprinkler heads need to be modified to provide correct sprinkler coverage. Earthquake bracing needs to be modified so that the "earthquake ears" are not used as discussed.
