Description	2/19/10: PLAN MODIFICATION This plan modification is to provide an AES RF radio panel in place of the previously submitted DACT. In addition the previous mark-ups and comments have been addressed. This fire alarm permit is to provide a new manual fire alarm system in a new building. System to include sprinkler monitoring, a manual pull station, smoke detection, notification, HVAC and damper shutdown. Associated building permit: BLD09-00077 (Region Four Substance Abuse and Mental Health Crisis Center) - To construct a 9,189 sq. ft. building for use as and "I-2" occupancy care & treatment facility. This building is fully sprinklered as required for occupancy use group. Work includes perimeter footings, foundation, floor/wall/roof construction, interior walls to create rooms & support areas for short term stay / treatment rooms, staff observation and work stations and accessible restrooms & bathing facilities throughout building; installation of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sprinkler & alarm systems, interior & exterior finishes & millwork; and all associated site work. drs (CUP08-00139) (DRH08-00404)

Several items noted during field inspection include; incorrect cd ratings at appliances in lobby 214 and hallway 213, sd at hallway 131 too close to an HVAC grill, notification device at hallway 129 overspaced off the end of the corridor, noted 14ga wire at notification circuts where 16ga is shown per plan, missing the smoke detector at lobby 102, strobe location at RR 107 has been moved, missing horn at B-2-13 EOL, plans show a strobe only at vestibule 201, hi/lo pressure switch not used per matrix, damper at ID S15 is not functional, sample tube at the duct detector does not appear to be supported or extend through the ductwork at the other side- see plan note #4, offsite monitoring reports the incorrect building address to dispatch. NOTE: Most issues repaired or adjusted while on site, the balance of system testing passed, remainder of outstanding items to be re-tested tomorrow as discussed. Request a copy of the list of signals sent today including correct address at next site visit. Added relay for the delayed egress hardware tested okay.

Called Joe at Allied General to let him know the plans he provided for the "Plan Modification" did not have my previous comments and/or redlines incorporated, and that I would need those addressed in order to approve them. He stated he would have them to my by tomorrow morning. I let him know that depending on what time he got them here, I might not have them done until Monday. He stated that he understood.
