Smoke detectors at three locations are too close to HVAC diffusers, missing one SD address D1-13, HVAC units must shut down immediately upon duct smoke activation. Fire sprinkler riser supervision tested okay, five MP stations, battery trouble, open circuts, and notification circuts all passed functional testing. Offsite monitoring to be verified under project related FIR permit inspection. Plan resubmittals verified.

Spoke with Rob Ahten and let him know there were still several deficiencies in the plans, however, I gave him the option of me rejecting the plans now so he can correct the issues and only pay one review fee or I could approve them as-noted with the understanding he would need to resubmit a plan modification prior to calling for a final inspection, thus paying an additional review fee. He opted for getting the plans approved with noted now and submitting a plan modification prior to calling for a final inspection.
