Description
The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of protecting a new home utilizing a NFPA 13D wet sprinkler system. The CPVC piping will be run in the attic and protected from freezing by tenting. The sprinklers are designed to protect a space of 16'x16'. The main riser is steel galvanized piping located in the garage protected by a pendant sprinkler. The system is supplied by 1" copper underground through a 1" DCVA backflow preventer.

Permit for the construction of a new 1425 sq. ft. one story Townhouse with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 767 sq. ft. of garage and storage. All work to be done per the approved plans, plan review report, any notations and all applicable codes. R-2D zoning, DRH08-00088 and setbacks per planning. CDM

A different backflow preventor and water meter have been installed than what was submitted. The hydraulic calculations have been re-approved by tim. Several pendant heads are installed too close to surface mounted light fixtures. They need to be a minumum 3'-6" away. Several pendants also appear to be too close to ceiling fans. They need to be atleast 36" away or meet one of the exceptions. The riser service tag, head box, flow through correct orfice, removing/locking of handles were not verified.

Four pendant heads exceed the maximum calculated of 8' off of walls. Also the underground sprinkler piping is poly plastic not copper as per the drawings. Also the area marked "Storage" is now an exterior covered patio with the sprinkler protection deleted.
