Need to finish up inspection of duct smoke detectors. Need to connect the existing smoke detectors in the Liebert units to the facp and test. Need updated as-builts showing all devices and their locations. One remote annunciator for a duct smoke detector was activated without testing.

Noted mag lock at the north tenant server room did not drop out upon fire alarm activation- per plan this relay to be tied in. Also need verification the remainder of doors equiped with mag locks at the tenant spaces are in compliance as well.

Damper operation at the electrical room verified okay, alarm condition reported- however a zone 6 flow was recieved at central station in additon to the zone 5 SD. Clean agent alarm condition tested but did not latch, tape and plastic cover at one SD in the server room removed while on site.

See the city approved plans for devices marled ok that have been tested. Items tested today were in the vacant space. Items needing corrected include repairing one fire/smoke damper in the electrical room and reprogramming the FACP panel to report alarm signals.We will need to re-verify these signals and test the devices in the two occupied spaces.

The facp and dialer were verified. But inspection was stopped after it was found that instead of just monitor modules being installed at all of the existing duct smoke detectors, new duct smoke detectors had been installed which are being powered from the facp. Also duct smoke detectors are being used for the control of what appear to be fire/smoke dampers.
