The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding 6 sprinklers below a mezzanine. The new piping will be tied into an existing 2" main. The system is pipe scheduled.

(BOISE STATE UNIVERSITY)(SUITE #104) Remodel changing occupancy use from retail to office/classroom on the first floor of 1,654 sq. ft. plus a new 248 sq. ft. mezzanine, a total of 1,902 sq. ft. space within existing building. Work to include structural frame infill between existing beam support system to construct a 248 sq. ft. mezzanine and code compliant stairway to mezzanine per plans and attached structural engineering design data. Install 42" high guard along open side of stairs and mezzanine and install handrail on both sides of stairs. Provide 1-hour fire resistive construction on the bottom of the stair stringers, (2 layers, 5/8", 'X') and 1-hour walls at storage under stair. Upgrade electrical, sprinkler, interior finishes and millwork; add new door and hardware to access reading room from atrium and upgrades of 20% of cost of project toward accessibility upgrade.
