The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding, relocating sprinklers on portions of the first, second, and third floor. The new walls are wood and therefore above and below protection is required. The existing system is a tree with various pipe sizing. All pendent sprinklers on the second floor are being changed to quick response.

(The Caprock Group) - The fire sprinkler system substitutes for the 1-hr fire-resistance-rating of the building structure. To remodel an existing 4,000 square foot, office tenant space, on the second floor, of an existing building. Work to include: minor demolition per plans; construct new 2x4, wood, interior non-bearing, partition walls to create a storage room and an open office area; construct a partial height wall for an entry feature; related interior finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2006 IBC; repair and replace existing ceiling system as required; upgrade the lighting layout; modify the existing exit lighting; plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work. All work per the approved plans, attached plan review report, and all other reviewing agencies approvals. NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered. Any alterations or modifications to the fire sprinkler system shall be per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department and will require a separate permit. **SRZ**
