The earthquaking has been addressed and both of the risers easily passed the required forward flush. Per Lonnie the storage is being reduced to no higher than the designed 16' but was not complete yet. The fire alarm permit still needs to be addressed.

Sizing, placement and hangers for the new sprinkler piping was inspected and passed. The locations of the earthquake bracing does not match plans and in some locations the two way and four way braces are in switched locations. Also the maximum storage height is listed as 16'-0" but the storage is up to 19'-6" in several locations. Also no fire alarm permit has been applied/issued for the tamper switches and flow switches. This fire sprinkler permit will not be finaled until an alarm permit has been applied for. A forward flush test was not performed due to the design possibly being changed due to the new storage height. An above ground hydro test will not be required.

I emailed Jim Darr at Treasure Valley Fire Protection and asked the following questions.

Hi Jim,

I notice there are NO racks in the NE and NW portion of the building.
What is being stored in these areas?
How is the storage arranged?
How is storage packaged?
Is the storage encapsulated?
What are the aisle widths?

Jim responed back with; There is no storage in the NE and NW areas of the building it is used for transition of the class IV commodities in and out of the building and open break areas with chairs and tables.
