This plan modification is to split the notification circuit into two separate circuits to ensure voltage drops are not exceeded. 8/27/10 PLAN MODIFICATION This plan modification is to replace the originally submitted horn/strobes with Wheelock devices and the addition of a second waterflow monitoring zone. In addition, zones have been changed for the duct detectors (all are now on Zone #6 rather than split into two zones as previously submitted), and a candela has been increased and a synchronization module has been provided. Associated building permit: BLD10-01246 (Fidelity Investments) Permit for tenant improvements to an existing 4,150 sq. ft. tenant space with work to include two new accessible restrooms, construction of new interior non-bearing partition walls, Suspended ceiling, new vestibule, HVAC ducting, fire sprinkler, electrical and all related interior finishes. All work to be done per the approved plans, plan review report and any notations. This is a fully sprinklered building; any alterations to the existing sprinkler system will require a separate permit and shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the City of Boise fire department. Provide one additional smoke detector in the ceiling pocket outside of the conference room. Also the EOL did not meet the minimum 19.6 volts. It appears that the notification circuit wil need to be split. This modification will require a resubmittal. Also the horns did not sync.

Spoke to Bret regarding the discrepencies in the plans. He indicated they were engineered drawings. I let him know that he would need to list the engineer as the designer if that was the case and not his employee. I also reminded him that since these were done by an engineer, the shop drawings would need to be reviewed by the engineer. The engineer will need to either stamp the shop drawings or provide a letter indicating he/she has reviewed the drawings and they meet the design intent. I let Bret know I would need to deny the plans due to this.
