This fire alarm permit is to provide a manual fire alarm system to an existing building. This system shall include manual pull stations at every exit, a smoke detector above the FACP, in-duct detectors for fire/smoke dampers, and notification throughout the building. This building is not sprinklered.
Associated building permit: BLD10-00924 Children's School of Boise - Remodel - To demo and remove all floor finishes, ceilings, and most interior partitions, leaving the two interior stairways, restroom #114 and a portion of the south library partition wall. To demo, remove and replace most of the existing piping, wiring and mechanical equipment and ductwork. To remodel the entire 3,540 square foot first floor, including furring the interior side of the exterior CMU walls to increase insulation values, to windows throughout and install new roof insulation and single-ply membrane roofing. The remodel includes new classroom, restroom, library, and office layout. This permit will also include the complete remodel of the 655 square foot basement to include two new accessible restrooms, a furnace room and laundry/breakroom area. All sidewalks, parking lot, trash enclosure, power upgrades, water and sewer lines for the new restroom off of the playground will be completed as part of this permit.
