Spoke to Ben at Peak Alarm and explained that per our records, the building does not have a monitored system (nor is it required to be monitored) and therefore would not require a submittal. I asked him to please verify the system is not being monitored. He stated he would verify and call me back as soon as possible.

Spoke to Mary Froemke at ECI regarding the permit requirements. I let her know I could not find anywhere in our records that indicate there is a monitored fire alarm system in the building, therefore this permit is not required. I let her know that I would void the permit, but if it is found later that there is, in fact, a monitored fire alarm system in the building, that a new permit would need to be pulled for this drain closure. She asked that I also call Ben at Peak Alarm to let him know.
