The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding an relocating sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration. The existing system is a 3”x2”x1¼” grid. The existing flow information was reported as S-55, R-20, Q-2750 & D-05-27-1997. The new flow information dated 11-30-2010 is the same as the old flow information.


Building Department Scope:

Permit is to remodel an existing 10,650 office / retail / warehouse building. Approval contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file. Work to include: [construction of interior non-bearing walls to expand customer service offices into the existing warehouse, to create a transfilling room in the existing warehouse, to separate the sales area from the display area, and to separate a work area into two work areas], installation of new mechanical system throughout the warehouse and new customer service area, and finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2006 IBC. This building is fully fire sprinklered any alterations or modifications to the sprinkler system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA #13 as regulated by the fire department. Racking that exceeds 8 ft. in height requires a separate Building Permit be submitted and approved before installation. **TLW**
