This fire alarm permit is to provide a (typically non-required) automatic detection system as an alternate due to an agreement with the building department and fire marshal (see alternate agreement attached to the submittal documents). Included in this permit scope of work is full coverage smoke detection, notification throughout, a pull station, a remote annunciator, and HVAC monitoring/shutdown.
Associated building permit: BLD10-02374 (ADA COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS) Remodel for an existing office tenant creating a new assembly training room and minor exterior modification at entrance door per approved plans. Work to include select interior demolition; framing & finish infill at doors removed; interior non-bearing walls; new doors and hardware per plans; accessible millwork in board room, training rooms, reception areas, office 106, break room 140, restrooms 143 & 144 and office 149; electrical, mechanical, plumbing and alarm systems work; new entry structural canopy with roof covering and new exterior door, hardware and landing, all per reviewed plans and attached plan review conditions / comments of all reviewing agencies. Building Official and Fire Marshal alternate approval attached allowing building to be over area by 59 sq. ft., because of new A-3 training room occupancy, with smoke detection/alarm system installed throughout building and additional exit doors (six shown) from the building.
