Shoreline Building
The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of relocating and adding sprinklers to accommodate new wall and ceiling configuration.
Building Department Scope:
Permit is to remodel an existing 2,061 square foot tenant space (Last permitted under BLD95-02186). This building is fire sprinklered to meet high rise provisions. Approval contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on. Work to include: reconfiguration of non-combustible full height partition walls to create 4 larger offices from 5 smaller offices and to separate off a break room, replace existing ceiling with new suspended grid system, new lighting, new accessible doors / hardware, relocate ducts and diffusers, and finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2006 IBC. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **TLW**
Fire Sprinkler System Design/Spacing:
Original system hydraulic calculations was a .10 density over 1638 Sqft. flowing 9 sprinklers @ 182 Sqft. on the third floor. The existing system has telescoping branch line piping and 3”, 2½” main piping.
