The Fire Sprinkler Scope of work consists of adding five sprinklers to a new office area inside of a fully sprinklered warehouse. The existing warehouse is protected by two dry systems. There will be a new tap 6”x1¼” tap on the existing riser to supply the new sprinkler line. The sprinklers will be on return bends with two-piece escutcheon. There is an adjoining office area separated by a two-hour wall that is NOT sprinklered.


Building Department Scope:

Permit is to remodel an existing 12,707 square foot office / warehouse building (the office and warehouse are separated by a two hour area separation wall). The warehouse building is sprinklered for area increase and the office building is not sprinklered. Approval contingent upon adhering to the approved plans on file and attached engineering. Work to include: construction of non-combustible full height partition walls to create a break room and office within the existing warehouse, new lights / switching, new accessible doors / hardware, installation of new mechanical, and finishes in compliance with chapter 8 of the 2009 IBC. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **TLW**
