9-2-11 PLAN MODIFICATION (no initiating devices affected): This plan modification is a change in the area of work and the arrangement of the ‘chambers’.

4-29-11:This fire alarm permit is to add and/or relocate initiating and notification devices to accommodate a tenant remodel. Included in this permit scope of work are signal ZAMs to trigger the chamber notification devices to eliminate possible interruptions in the building notification synchronization. In the spaces outside the chambers, notification is being added and/or relocated to accommodate the new layout. Duct detectors with remote test switches, smoke detectors for door holder release, and pull stations are also being added.
Associated building permit: BLD11-00693 (HP BLD 7 LAB RELOCATION) Remodel of an existing 8,000 sq. ft. floor area located in the SW quadrant of HP Building #7 for relocation of equipment testing facilities and testing chambers from other buildings in HP Complex and an addition of 288 sq. ft. extension of Package Test Lab 104. Work includes select demolition; concrete foundations for new addition, vibration equipment pit and lifting crane in PTL 104; new mechanical mezzanine and support structure; exterior exit door, landing, stairs and railings; relocated doors and new walls to create Life Test #1, Life Test #2 and NN Room; suspended ceiling grid system in remodeled areas; lighting fixtures, controls, interior finishes; modification of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire sprinkler and alarm systems. drs
